Bible verses advocate genocide against pagan/heathen natives

On the 18th day of October, 2012, Indian Country Today Media Network (ICTMN), the world's largest Indian news source, republished A 1993 Open Letter To Pope John Paul II. And on October 19th, the editors of ICTMN approved and posted a comment of mine in response to the open letter. Another comment of mine was posted on the 23rd.

Steven Newcomb (Shawnee, Lenape), an ICTMN columnist and one of the three signatories of the letter, said: The letter was sent to the Vatican by the United Nations Centre for Human Rights but we never received an official response."

I occasionally correspond with Newcomb. He has given his support for initiatives of mine associated with the purpose of the open letter to Pope John Paul II. And ICTMN often approves and posts comments and letters of mine.

A part of the open letter to Pope John Paul II reads:

Five hundred years ago, your predecessor, Pope Alexander VI, issued the now famous Inter Caetera bull. That papal decree expressed the pope's desire that "barbarous nations," those "discovered," be "subjugated" and reduced to the Catholic faith and Christian religion. He said that in this way, the "Christian empire" would be propagated. The Inter Caetera bull was in direct line with an earlier bull issued in 1452 by Pope Nicholas V to King Alfonso V of Portugal, which called upon the king, "to invade, search out, capture, vanquish, and subdue all Saracens and pagans, whatsoever, and other enemies of Christ." Pope Nicholas also directed Alfonso to take away and convert the non-Christians' possessions and property," and to reduce their persons to perpetual slavery."

Now in 1993, the "International Year of the World's Indigenous People," as declared by the United Nations, our spiritual elders tell us that it is time for the Age of Subjugation to end. During that age, the traditional nations and peoples of the Western Hemisphere have endured what historian David Stannard has referred to as the worst holocaust in the history of humanity. For many of us it still continues. It is now time to acknowledge that the papal documents mentioned above directly contributed to our suffering, misery, and to the genocide committed against us.

1) For generations now, the Church has taught our people that our own ceremonial traditions are "heathen" and "pagan." Many of us have been taught to fear, ridicule and even deny our own family members who follow traditional ceremonial practices. Your revocation of the papal bull will begin to remove this legacy of fear and judgment from the hearts and minds of our people.

My first ICTMN comment reads:

Will the current Pope apologize for genocide? Probably not! Why? Because Bible verses advocate genocide against pagan/heathen natives.

"You must drive all the natives of the land before you. If you do not drive the natives of the country before you then those who remain will become disgusting to your eyes and a thorn in your side. They will harass you in the land where you live, and I will deal with you as I meant to deal with them." Num. 33:51

The Lord hath said..."I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel." Psalm 2 KJV

More about this topic:

The Christian invasion and conquest of the Western Hemisphere caused the deaths of upwards of 90 percent of the indigenous population of around 100 million. Father Junipero Serra built 21 missions that extended up the United States' west coast to San Francisco, California. Serra used the native populations as slaves to maintain the missions, working the people to death. Christopher Columbus and his men also enslaved natives and worked them to death. They also used innocent native people for dog food. The dogs would tare the natives to "pieces" and then eat them.

Father Bartolome de Las Casas was the first European historian in the Americas. When referring to the European Christians' first forty years of genocidal behavior in the Americas he wrote:

"They are still acting like ravening beasts, killing, terrorizing, afflicting, torturing, and destroying the native peoples, doing all this with the strangest and most varied new methods of cruelty, never seen or heard of before, and to such a degree that this Island of Hispaniola once so populous (having a population that I estimated to be more than three million), has now a population of barely two hundred persons."

Bartolome de Las Casas also wrote: "They built a long gibbet, low enough for the toes to touch the ground and prevent strangling, and hanged thirteen [natives] at a time in honor of Christ Our Savior and the twelve Apostles. When the Indians were thus still alive and hanging, the Spaniards tested their strength and their blades against them, ripping chests open with one blow and exposing entrails, and there were those who did worse. Then, straw was wrapped around their torn bodies and they were burned alive."

"Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as they do when they do it from religious conviction" the French philosopher [Blaise Pascal] (1670).

"Belief in a cruel God makes a cruel man." the American philosopher [Thomas Paine].

The god of the Bible said: Slavery is an everlasting institution. Slaves are to obey their masters in everything. LE 25:44-46, DT 15:17, EP 6:5, CN 3:22, TS 2:9, PE 2:18

The god of the Bible said kill all of the male Midianite children and kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man." NUMBERS 31:17-18

God divided the plunder to the soldiers, the priest, the Israelites and for tribute to the Lord. ...61,000 donkeys and 32,000 virgin women. NUMBERS 31:31-40

The god the Bible takes credit for creating evil, as well as good? ( Isaiah. 45:7)

Read more about what the god of the Bible said and did HERE.

Genesis 1:31 says: And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.

St. Symeon wrote: "Neither Eve nor Paradise were yet created, but the whole world had been brought into being by God as one thing, as a kind of paradise, at once incorruptible yet material and perceptible."

St. John of Damascus wrote: "The creation of all things is due to God, but corruption came in afterwards due to our wickedness...For God did not make death, neither does He take delight in the destruction of living things" (Wisdom 1:13). But death is the work rather of man, that is, its origin is in Adam's transgression."

St. Ignatius Brianchaninov wrote: "Plants were not subjected either to decay or to diseases; both decay and diseases and the weeds themselves, appeared after the alteration of the earth following the fall of man."

St. Basil the Great wrote: "...it is customary for vultures to feed on corpses, but since there were not yet corpses, nor yet their stench, so there was not yet such food for vultures. But all followed the diet of swans and all grazed the meadows...the beasts were not carnivores...such was the first creation, and such will be the restoration after this."

Modern-day science teaches that the first animal fossils date to about 600 million years ago and that the first humans came into existence around 1.8 million years ago. Science also teaches that since the first animals came into existence corruption and death have ruled the world, and that it was not "a kind of paradise" on earth before the "first humans committed original sin." Many of the dinosaurs were carnivores. Around 50 million years ago the dinosaurs were killed due to a massive meteor shower on earth. At the time, a time before humans existed, where were a lot of corpses for the vultures to eat. At the time, the world was violent and brutal. The world was NOT "very good" or "pure" at its origins, nor has it been any time since.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church says: "Jesus came to restore creation to the purity of its origins."

The U.S. Catholic Bishops wrote: "The whole Bible is spanned by the narrative of the first creation (Gn 1:3) and the vision of a restored creation at the end of history" (RV. 21:1-4)

Modern-day science has proven these - Bible scripture based - Catholic dogmas/teachings to be untrue and deceptive. Therefore, modern-day science has made Christianity and the Roman Catholic Religion an out-dated religion.

Millions of Native Americans were put to death for not accepting "the true god." To read more about this atrocity click here

Christianity's "true God and Lord" commanded that an empire-building genocide be committed against natives and that their bodies be "dashed in pieces". 15th Century Popes and their people obeyed the genocidal command of their cruel "god". And modern-day Popes have not been able to apologize for this, which is why the genocide continues to this present-day. And an "inspired" Bible verse has the nerve to ask: WHY DO THE HEATHEN RAGE?

"Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his Anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure - Psalm 2 KJV.

Saint Augustine wrote that the Bible verse: "Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us" means "let us do our endeavour, that the Christian religion does not bind us, nor be imposed upon us."

I believe that some of the Bible scriptures were inspired by God. And I am a follower of Jesus Christ and believe in God the Father. However, I have a New Age Gnostic religious (or, heathen/pagan) view and belief of who Jesus and God the Father are. And I, along with others, are taking council together, against the genocidal "Lord" (the God of Abraham), and against his genocidal Christian "Anointed". And we are saying: "Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us."

Why do the heathen rage?

My second ICTMN comment reads:

In the 4th comment a Bible verse is presented: "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his Anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us." Saint Augustine wrote that the Bible verse: "Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us" means "let us do our endeavour, that the Christian religion does not bind us, nor be imposed upon us."

An official United Nations document about the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues Eleventh Session states: Robert Williams, Professor of Native American Studies, University of Arizona, who spoke on yesterday's panel on the Discovery Doctrine, said that [outrage] over the Doctrine explained the repeated and compelling calls for the General Assembly to renounce such documents, and to make it clear that they could not be used by States to claim indigenous lands, territories or natural resources.

In respect to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, a growing number of Christian leaders are beginning to protest against these rights, because they believe that they stand in the way of their efforts to impose the Christian religion on indigenous peoples.

One Christian leader wrote: "Indigenous peoples' territorial, demonic nature spirits are being supported, entrenched and empowered by the occult New Age political world leaders, through the esoteric United Nations organization." Are the United Nations' "political world leaders" the "kings of the earth" mentioned in Psalm 2 KJV?

*********************************************************************************

Here are two more statements by a Christian leader:

'International co - operation' is being amalgamated against Christian action to set free the Demonically enslaved indigenous people of the globe.

'State measures' to prevent "any interference with or encroachment upon these rights", which means that the international laws will forbid the spread of the Good News of Christ Jesus' death on the cross for the indigenous peoples of the world.

*********************************************************************************

I believe that the "political world leaders" of the United Nations are the "kings of the earth" mentioned in Psalm 2 and that the "kings of the earth" will come forth victourous and remain victorious. There will be no ultimate victory (as predicted in the bible) for the genocidal "Lord" and his genocidal Christian "Anointed."

Excerpts from the article read:

Adam Hamilton has the honor of leading the largest United Methodist congregation in the United States. More than 8,600 attend services each week, and the Kansas congregation is considered by many to be America's most influential mainline Protestant church.

Hamilton wrote: In the Hebrew Bible we find God putting to death 70,000 Israelites to punish David for taking a census. We have God commanding Joshua to slaughter every man, woman and child in 31 entire kingdoms in the Canaan as a kind of offering to God. This is what, today, we would call genocide. God commands priests to burn their daughters alive if they become prostitutes. I cannot imagine God calling me to burn one of my children alive, regardless of what they had done. Other ancient near eastern people believed their gods also called them to slaughter entire cities as an offering to their gods, so this seems to have been a common cultural understanding about the relationship between war and the gods.
